Meet our volunteers
Sue Patchett (Trustee general secretary)
Born and bred in Riddlesden Sue has had a life long interest in nature and conservation. She organises most of our river clean ups. Many of the Toads in Riddlesden owe their lives to her as she also organises the Riddlesden Toad Patrol. |
John Tickner
A founder member of RWF John is an amateur photographer with a keen interest in recording the wildlife all along the Worth and it's tributaries. He is also very knowledgeable about the history of the river. As you can see he also likes to get his waders on and get in the water. |
Laura Bates
Laura is the current chair of the RWF. Laura came up with the much loved interactive 'fish up the weir' activity that we take to public events. Kayleigh Eldekvist
Kayleigh's interest in river conservation grew out of her love for wild swimming. She enjoys helping with the river clean ups as well as riverfly monitoring, and can occasionally be seen helping at events."

Geoff Hale (Trustee treasurer)
Geoff has been talked into being our treasurer. He says "Arrr feel particularly qualified to be yon treasurer seeing as how my entire life has been keenly focussed on seeking treasure". Not sure where the accent is from! Lynn Parker
Lynn is another of our riverfly monitors and a great idea brainstormer. |
Ella Busfield
Ella is a RWF committee member who lives and has grown up in Keighley next to the River Worth. She is particularly passionate about authorities addressing sewage pollution in the River Worth. She once rescued a kingfisher from a cat. |
